Tell him you're ready

— Tonight is the night. The momentum from President Obama's Convention speech could break the tie in this election.

Right now, tell President Obama you're ready to fight for him: [url]

President Clinton described President Obama best: "A man who's cool on the outside but who burns for America on the inside."

That burn drove President Obama to wage tough battles for marriage equality, health coverage, and the auto industry because it was the right thing to do. That's the kind of man that I want as President.

Sign here and show President Obama you're ready to fight for him—Help him win this race right now.

60 days left. Make them count.

Splat

Well, that speech was awesome. Are you fired up? Me, too.

But "fired up" isn't good enough.

This race is deadlocked, and now everyone is expecting to see a "bounce" in our numbers. But if we don't hit our fundraising goal at midnight tonight, we'll see about as much bounce as a cantaloupe. And cantaloupes don't bounce. They splat.

If we splat today, all of this feel-good momentum will disappear, and that could be how we lose the White House and Senate.

So listen up: Make the next 24 hours count if you don't want President Obama to lose this race. Please click here and make a contribution of $X here.

And compare this week to the Republican convention last week. Less awesome. Far more scary. But just as motivating. Because if the party that put on that show in Tampa becomes the party that runs our government, well -- yikes.

From the White House to the Senate, from the Cabinet to the Supreme Court -- what we do in the next 59 days will decide it all.

We need to raise $X -- TODAY -- to hit our goal and win this race. Please click here to help.

Thanks for helping us get this done.

Al

Pls see Sen. Franken's message below.  If we lose the post-convention bounce to the Republicans, we lose President Obama and the Senate. Deadline's at midnight. Can you give $X? [url]

Just got home

— I just got home to Boston from Charlotte -- and I can tell you that you could feel it inside that hall last night: President Obama gave everyone every ounce of motivation imaginable.

But for everything he talked about -- today, we must focus on winning this election.

The polls have been deadlocked for months, but in the coming days, one side will very likely take a permanent lead. Your support, right now, will determine which way the needle tilts.

If we don't win the bounce, we won't win this election.

Think about the feeling you would have on Election Night hearing the race called for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Instead, put in the work now, contribute $X and fight for President Obama and a Democratic Senate. We only need 50,000 contributions before midnight to make it Kerry

Did you see Barack?

Wow, what a week.

The energy in Charlotte was absolutely amazing, and like many of you, now I'm more determined than ever to win this election and move our country forward.

This is it. We've got the momentum, and I don't know about you, but I'm not planning on letting it slow down over these last 60 days.

It's going to take all of us doing our part. Please donate $X or more today to make this campaign stronger for the home stretch:

Every day for more than three and a half years, I've seen up close what Barack's job requires.

The issues that come across his desk are always the ones with no easy solutions, where the stakes are high and there's no margin for error. In the end, the choices you make boil down to who you are and what you stand for.

It's one of the reasons I believe this election is a must-win. We know who Barack is. We have seen again and again just how hard he's willing to fight for us and for what's right.

Will you make a donation of $X or more and show Barack you're willing to fight alongside him?

[url]

From the very beginning, this election has been about values, and voters will have a clear choice to make.

Barack gets the American dream because he's lived it. He knows that when you've worked hard and done well and walked through that door of opportunity, you don't slam it shut behind you.

You reach back and give other folks a chance to succeed as well.

Barack does that every day -- and all along, you've been right there by his side.

Please donate $X or more and get his back:

Last night we saw why this election is a must-win.

We know who Barack is and what he stands for.

We know that when the tough calls come across his desk, he's guided by a lifetime of experience. Barack gets the American dream because he's lived it.

And if we want to make sure that his values and vision can keep moving our country forward, we've got to work harder than ever.

This race will be tight until Election Day, so it's up to us to make sure every voter understands everything that's on the line.

Will you make a donation of $X or more and show Barack you're with him?

Barack is where he is today only because you've been right there by his side. Please know that if you're able to support him with a donation today, it will make a huge difference.

[name]ert, you're amazing

thank you for an amazing week.

Barack and I felt your energy up there.

But we can't let that energy fade -- because in just 60 days, voters will decide who gets to serve in the White House for the next four years. So every single one of us has got to pull together to finish strong.

I know you feel the urgency: Already this week, more than 500,000 of you have made donations to build this campaign. So if you're fired up, let's keep it going -- let's see how many people we can get to show their support by the end of the day.

Can you chip in $X or more to stand with Barack today?

Barack's got something that the other side doesn't: more than 3 million grassroots supporters like you -- and together we're going to win this election the right way.

The donation you give today will make a big impact in the final stage of this race. And on November 7th, you can wake knowing that you did everything you could to help us deliver on the full promise of the next four years.

Make this our biggest week yet, and give $X or more right now to win this election in the final two months:

What voters are seeing

Democrats

I'm so proud of what happened at the convention this week. Millions of Americans tuned in and saw what we stand for and what we're fighting for.

But they're also seeing nonstop TV ads attacking just that.

Mitt Romney and the Republicans have been outraising us, and outside groups are flooding the airwaves with lies and distortions.

If we're going to get our message out and build our ground game in these last 60 days, each of us needs to do our part.

Chip in $X or more today to keep closing the gap and build on the momentum this week:

The Democratic Party ----------------------- Sarah--

Did you get to watch the President's speech last night at the Democratic convention? If you missed it, all I can say to describe it is "Wow!"

It encapsulated what I love about the way he sees the world -- in his words: "We don't turn back. We leave no one behind. We pull each other up."

That is what I'm fighting for when I come to work every day. Because I believe that there is a clear way forward -- and we need to come together to get there.

choice

D --

On Wednesday night, I spoke on the floor at the Democratic Convention about what a Romney-Ryan America would mean for women.

An America in which access to birth control is controlled by people who will never use it.^1 In which politicians redefine rape so survivors are victimized all over again.^2 In which someone decides which victims of domestic violence deserve help, and which don't.^3

And six months from now, we could all be living in that America.

But we've also seen another future we could choose. An America in which our President -- when he hears a young woman has been verbally attacked -- thinks of his daughters. Not his delegates or donors.

We talk often about choice. Now, it's up to all of us to make the choice to support our President with a Democratic majority.

Will you add your name to say that you're standing with President Obama?

Thank you,

Sandra Fluke

A cold, hard reality check

To view this email as a web page, go here.

Romney-Ryan [url]

If last night was the party, this morning's job report is the hangover.

For every net new job created, nearly four Americans gave up looking for work entirely.

It's a cold, hard reality check that no amount of bluster in Charlotte can mask. And it's just more of the same bad news for middle-class families who are suffering through the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression.

This is not what a recovery looks like. After 43 straight months of unemployment above 8 percent, it's clear that President Obama just hasn't lived up to his promises -- and his policies haven't worked.

Americans are not better off than they were four years ago. They deserve new leadership that will get our economy moving again.

Mitt Romney's plan for a stronger middle class will create 12 million new jobs by the end of his first term.

Put America back to work by putting Barack Obama and his liberal allies out of work. Help elect Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and the Republican team.

Where President Obama has failed to lead, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and the entire Republican team will act.

Let's pull together and rally behind the serious leadership Americans deserve -- and get our country working again. Donate today: [url]
