So, I did an internship for a political campaign in Utah as a requirement for one of my classes. It was a democratic campaign, so it wasn't funded well at all. That meant they relied on their interns to do a lot of the work that paid workers should be doing. While I really enjoyed working with a lot of the people there, I really learned very little about how to run an effective campaign because the managers were so incompetent. I would have really preferred being directed to a campaign that would have been a better learning experience.
