Note: County-level data does not include tax cuts, Medicaid, unemployment benefits or food stamps. There still may be overrepresentation of money going to counties where capitals are located because in some cases, awards to state agencies did not indicate that they were to be used statewide.
Amount refers to both the amount of stimulus funding going toward the project and the face value of the loan.

| STERLING AREA HEALTH CENTER | $482,680.00 | Grant | ARRA ? Health Center Integrated Services Development Initiative[g1] The CIP funding will allow the Center to construct and equip a 2400 (minimum) square foot Behavioral Health and Administration building at its main location in Sterling Michigan. This building will provide much needed additional spaace for expanded behavioral health and administrative support services. This will in turn free up space in the main building for expanded space for new medical services. The new building will help alleviate the pressing patient and community need for behavioral health services. The building will also allow the existing administrative staff adequate room to work, and provide new space for much needed positions such as for IT staff. The existing office space these staff will vacate is needed by current and recently hired medical staff. In particular the medical staff hired with ARRA IDS funding will occupy this vacated space. This will provide much needed space for the Center's after hours walk in clinic staff. The space vacated by the administrative staff will be re used for medical and administrative record consolidation and storage.... | STERLING AREA HEALTH CENTER | $170,965.00 | Grant | ARRA ? Health Center Integrated Services Development Initiative[g1] The Center is using the ARRA IDS funding to expand access to primary health care by opening additional clinic sessions including an after hours walk in clinic. When fully operational the after hours clinic will be open six or seven days each week. During this quarter the after hours clinic was open four nights per week from 6-10pm. During this quarter a new full time physician assistant was hired. As demand grows we will use the the new physician assistant to open the clinic nightly and weekends. The physician assistant will also staff additional clinic sessions during normal business hours, thus further increasing access to primary health care. The funding will allow the Center to meet one of the community's most pressing needs- that of increasing access to after hour's primary care services. The service area lacks access to after hour's care, with many individuals forced to access care at the expensive emergency room. The new after hour's walk in clinic will also provide a point of entry into the Center's comprehensive primary health care services.....
