Veterans' Identity Theft Protection Act of 2016 This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to discontinue using Social Security account numbers to identify individuals in its information systems by the following deadlines: for all veterans submitting new claims for benefits, by not later than two years after the date of enactment of this bill; and for all other individuals, by not later than five years after such date.
