He was Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, Puerto Rico Chapter. Josué joined the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) office in Washington DC in January 2017 as a Policy Advisor. He was named President of the Ethics Committee. Mr. Rivera earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. Bio, via LinkedIn:

I have been involved in politics for about 5 years now. I began working for the Republican Party in 2012 during the Mitt Romney campaign. I was a high school student but spent every possible moment of my free time helping out as an unpaid intern. I organised a large group of volunteers to help out with phone calls and door to door canvassing. Many of the volunteers were not even interested in politics, the key was to get them excited and to make volunteering fun. Between 2012 and the present I have worked on many campaigns. Some of which I was paid and some of which I was not paid. I believe that every election matters and that is why I cannot keep myself from being involved. I am a great communicator and organizer. My greatest skill is being able to "read people". Often I am able to identify how someone is really thinking or feeling without them having to tell me.This is a very useful skill because it allows me to fulfill a person's wants with little instruction. My greatest accomplishment has been working on the Donald Trump campaign. I was able to meet so many voters. Each person had their own priorities and backgrounds. I worked with many volunteers and it was great to see that their hard work paid off.
