I provide the strategy, content and direction for all ITA programs, including forging partnerships with key leaders and organizations to extend the reach and awareness of the ITA. I joined the ITA in 2005 and have played an instrumental role in developing what is known today as Chicago's preeminent tech event, CityLIGHTS. Under my leadership, sponsorships for the awards gala have increased by 300% with attendance growing dramatically year-over-year. I also have leveraged my days of working on Capitol Hill, to direct the ITA advocacy initiative including trips to DC to meet with key government officials. Prior to the ITA, I worked at the Executives' Club of Chicago and have extensive experiencing running association programs and political campaigns.
