The site is composed of 640... see more » The Stanislaus Bombing Target, also known as Target No. 9 and Crows Landing Target No. 7, is located in Stanislaus County, California, approximately 2.5 miles southwest of Patterson, and 90 miles south of Sacramento. The site is composed of 640 acres where Interstate 5 bisects the northeast corner. After the Department of Defense (DoD) left the site in 1944, the land reverted back to the Cox Estate for use as a private ranch and cattle grazing. The site continues to be used for cattle grazing.
