DoseOptics LLC
Equity Interest - Non-publicly traded entity ( e.g., stock, stock option, or other ownership interest)
Dr. Jarvis’s spouse owns equity in DoseOptics LLC, a startup company that develops an imaging system to record Cherenkov emission video images of radiation delivery to patients. This technology will be employed in connection with the research to be performed under this grant The Conflict of Interest Committee determined that, given Dr. Jarvis’ role as Co-Investigator, her spouse’s financial interest in DoseOptics LLC LLC could appear to significantly and directly affect the design, conduct, and reporting of the research.
Optical Cherenkov calibration for human radiation therapy
NARRATIVE Cherenkov imaging of radiation therapy delivery allows a real time visual mapping of the surface radiation deposited by the beam on the patient. Developments to quantify this signal and extract the signals which directly report on dose delivery will be completed to determine its value in verification, with a focus on whole breast radiotherapy.
