This project will generate new insights into the biology of pancreas cancer and help to develop novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of pancreas cancer. The project uses mouse models of pancreas cancer. The matrix targeting approaches will include hyaluronan depletion with pegylated hyaluronidase, PEGPH20. PEGPH20 will be produced and provided by Halozyme, a company from which Dr. Hingorani receives a significant financial interest.

Project Narrative Dr. Martin Whittle investigates the processes that underlie the inception and progression of pancreas cancer under the direction of Dr. Sunil Hingorani at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Dr. Whittle?s research will generate new insights into the biology of pancreas cancer and help to develop novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of this highly lethal disease.
