Automated Assessment of Pediatric Rome IV Criteria Using Computerized Decision Support
Project Narrative This study will determine if using a computer system affects how doctors diagnose and treat gastrointestinal problems like irritable bowel syndrome and constipation in children (i.e., functional gastrointestinal disorders). We hope to determine if using computer assisted diagnosis and treatment can improve how often these diseases are diagnosed, and also how well these diseases are treated. If we can show this technique works, these tools could be applied in any pediatric clinic using an electronic medical record. !
