Conflict of Interest
Institutions must file significant disclosures to the National Institutes of Health if they determine financial relationships could affect the design, conduct or reporting of the NIH-funded research. The NIH provided us with their entire financial conflict of interest database, with filings from 2012 through 2019.

Wearifi, Inc.
Equity Interest - Non-publicly traded entity ( e.g., stock, stock option, or other ownership interest)
Professor Rogers is a founder of and has equity interests in Wearifi, Inc., a company focused on creating the world’s thinnest, smallest, most flexible, and most lightweight near-field communication wearable device technology.
This project involves development of a stretchable and flexible sensor technology and the development of computational modeling and algorithms for statistical signal processing of the sensor data and pattern recognition to create a user-friendly interface for clinicians and patients, as well as application of the proposed sensor technologies and data processing and pattern recognition techniques to prosthetic clinical practice. Technology relative to small, wireless, wearable, and flexible devices for various applications is licensed to Wearifi.
Given the intersection of the company’s commercial pursuits and intellectual property interests with this research, Professor Roger’s relationship with the company and his involvement in this Northwestern research presents a potential conflict of interest that should be managed.
SCH: Interface Monitoring System to Promote Residual Limb Health

Notes: When a more specific filing date is not available for an individual financial disclosure or conflict of interest form, we use the year the form was filed. If the year was not disclosed, we report the range of years covered by our public records requests. In a few cases, a start date was provided instead of a filing date. In those cases, we use the start date instead.
