Identification of Citrullinated Biomarkers of Inflammatory Disease and Cancer
The identification of disease biomarkers has been identified by the NIH as a high priority research area. Such biomarkers can be used to diagnose and monitor the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. The citrullinated protein biomarkers that we plan to identify will be useful for diagnosing and monitoring the progression of a variety of inflammatory diseases and cancers.
