Conley Griggs Partin LLP
This case involves a 69-year old female with early-stage Alzheimer's dementia who was a nursing home resident. On January 8, 2018, she developed altered mental status and was rushed to the emergency department. An initial brain CT revealed a subacute intracranial bleed; however, this CT was allegedly misread and failed to diagnose an acute subdural hematoma. The patient died five days later on Jan 12, 2018. No autopsy was performed. We are seeking an expert neurosurgeon to review the patient's medical records and opine on the evaluation and management that she received, as well as her expected prognosis had the correct diagnosis of subdural hematoma been made and appropriate neurosurgical treatment rendered. The attorney is representing the plaintiff, Dorothy Warren. The defendants are Clinch Healthcare Center, Clinch Memorial Hospital, and Beacon Health Management. The attorney's name is Cale Conley of Conley Griggs Partin LLP in Atlanta, GA.
