Imaging Disease Heterogeneity and Response to Therapy in Myelofibrosis
PROJECT NARRATIVE This project will develop new MRI methods to measure composition and overall architecture of bone marrow in myelofibrosis, a blood cancer that causes progressive accumulation of fibrous tissue in bone marrow. Through studies in both mouse models and patients with myelofibrosis, we will establish imaging methods to monitor response to therapy and identify treatments that eliminate fibrous tissue from bone marrow.
