Conflict of Interest
Institutions must file significant disclosures to the National Institutes of Health if they determine financial relationships could affect the design, conduct or reporting of the NIH-funded research. The NIH provided us with their entire financial conflict of interest database, with filings from 2012 through 2019.

Health Smart Technologies, Inc.
Equity Interest - Non-publicly traded entity ( e.g., stock, stock option, or other ownership interest)
Dr. Mary Loghmani holds an equity interest in Health Smart Technologies, Inc., which is in the process of developing a device. Indiana University's COI Committee determined that a potential conflict exists because the device that is being used as part of the study protocol, although not being studied, is owned by Health Smart Technologies.
Alliance for Regenerative Rehabilitation Research & Training (AR3T)
Regenerative Rehabilitation is the integration of principles and approaches in rehabilitation science and regenerative medicine with the ultimate goal of developing innovative and effective methods that promote the restoration of function through tissue regeneration and repair. The Alliance for Regenerative Rehabilitation Research & Training (AR3T) will build on the momentum of this growing field by establishing a national network that will illuminate and seize opportunities to expand scientific knowledge, expertise and methodologies across the fields of regenerative medicine and rehabilitation. In the end, the integration of these two fields will increase the efficiency of interventions designed to optimize physical functioning to the benefit of a wide range of individuals with disabilities.
