Participate on policy issues that affect the well being of the institution. As a member, we are to contribute with our time and expertise on a quarterly basis or as needed on different aspects of the association. On occasion, we may have to attend (travel) to Washington DC of working meetings (typically about two days) but for the most part we take care of the committee assignments and responsibilities at a distance or through video conferencing meetings.
As part of our professional service to the institution, we are encouraged to participate at national learned societies or associations. N/A
