Atlas Regeneration Technologies
I serve as the President/CEO of Atlas Regeneration Technologies, LLC. I worked 51% time for Atlas in CY2017 as part of a grant from the NSF. I am the PI for a Phase 1 Small Business Technology Transfer grant that is developing a UTEP technology. I reduced my time at UTEP to 49% and followed the policies. I had a COI in place since May 2017.
I try to minimize the overlap, but it wasn't always possible. The work done for this project is done in a UTEP laboratory with permission. But Atlas does sponsor work at UTEP, which is managed by the College of Engineering with the UTEP PI being W. Shane Walker.
