Texas Tech Health Science Center
I will actively participate in the research proposed by Dr. Brad Bryan from TTHSC who is the lead PI of the grant that will be submitted to the Rally Foundation. As director of the Cytometry, Screening and Imaging Core Facility, my staff and I will assist Dr. Brady in the cell-based drug screening assays that he has proposed. We will also test drug combination for efficacy against sarcoma cancer cell lines. In addition, we will extract RNA from treated cancer cells and untreated cells as controls for microarray genome wide expression analyses. The aim of these analyses is to determine the pathways induced by the drugs so that we can ascertain the mode of action of these drugs. As these assays are very time consuming, we will need to hire a part-time research technician to assist the research team under my supervision. As co-PI, I will design experiments and assist in the interpretation of the results. I will also assist in the preparation of progress reports
Will participate in research collaboration/grant as a Co-PI on a foundation grant

Notes: When a more specific filing date is not available for an individual financial disclosure or conflict of interest form, we use the year the form was filed. If the year was not disclosed, we report the range of years covered by our public records requests. In a few cases, a start date was provided instead of a filing date. In those cases, we use the start date instead.
Fewer than 10% of records from the University of Florida and fewer than 1% of records from the University of Texas system were removed because they did not contain enough information.
ProPublica obtained additional financial disclosures and conflict of interest forms that we have not yet digitized and added to the database. You can download those disclosures in the ProPublica Data Store.
