Leticia Vega
Help marketing brand value by representing new brands to target customers. The goal is to increase awareness, create a specific image, generate sales opportunities and build customer preference. Duties: Working as an independent contractor for different promotional agencies in shows, fairs, and retail stores such as Macy's. The hours worked depends on the type of event. All my promotional events are during the weekend and last around 4 hours or less.
This activity does not have an end date. I am an independent contractor and choose to work or not work depending on my schedule. I usually work with strangers whom I meet that same day of the event. The event can last only one day or few weekends and I will possibly never work with them again once is over. Is difficult to develop any type of personal connection with a particular vendor. I do not own any product and I am not part of any business. Since I am an independent contractor I can choose the hours and dates I work. I will never work more that 6 hours per week, and always on the weekends. If UTSA needs for me to work in the weekend because of a conference or similar activities, my external job will not be a problem. My work in UTSA is my priority.

Notes: When a more specific filing date is not available for an individual financial disclosure or conflict of interest form, we use the year the form was filed. If the year was not disclosed, we report the range of years covered by our public records requests. In a few cases, a start date was provided instead of a filing date. In those cases, we use the start date instead.
Fewer than 10% of records from the University of Florida and fewer than 1% of records from the University of Texas system were removed because they did not contain enough information.
ProPublica obtained additional financial disclosures and conflict of interest forms that we have not yet digitized and added to the database. You can download those disclosures in the ProPublica Data Store.
