thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas; Research Innovation Center Atlanta
They asked me to make a code for frequency based vibrational analysis and analyze elevator cord vibrations from their elevators using that code. I will produce for them a matlab software package, a simple user manual, a report and a presentation.
I will receive the total of dollars for this. in any way invested in this company. I also don't have students there. I actually hope that this activity will ultimately bring about ThyssenKrupp into my research center. I am careful not to overload myself and plan to work 8 hours per week (exclusively evenings and weekends).
