From today's Washington Post: "Romney tries to bury Obama in ads"

The Washington Post just reported Romney's final stretch strategy: double – or in some cases triple – spending in swing states such as Florida, Ohio, Nevada and Virginia. And last week, the GOP already outspent us by 50%.

POLLING UPDATE - 10/13 State Poll Advantage Florida Obama 48, Romney 47 Obama +1 Nevada Obama 47, Romney 45 Obama +2 Ohio Obama 48, Romney 47 Obama +1 Virginia Obama 47, Romney 49 Romney +2 We have a strategy to prevent them from buying this election, but we need your urgent help.

If we double our own spending in deadlocked battlegrounds, we can fight off Romney's Rove-funded barrage of ads. But we need 2,021 donors this weekend to make it happen.

Will you rush $X or more immediately? If we have your urgent support, we will take on Romney's billionaire financiers and win this election.

If we don't, we could let these four battlegrounds, President Obama, and a Democratic Senate run out of our reach.

Please give $X or more by midnight Sunday » [url]

Thanks for your support, Guy Cecil
