Obama - Biden --

Iowa and Wisconsin could use a hand right now. The other side is hitting their airwaves hard with an onslaught of negative ads.

But while our opponents are primarily focused on that, we're on the ground, talking to people about the issues they care about and how President Obama and other Democrats can help them.

With just 19 days left, we're counting on you and other Illinoisans to

where we'll hear from local organizers and volunteers about our strategy for winning there. Then, we'll head out into local neighborhoods to knock on doors and have one-on-one conversations with voters about what's at stake in this election.

Obama - Biden --

The final three weeks of an election are like nothing else.

It's when we put aside all of the talk about what might happen in this race, roll up our sleeves, and do what it takes to win, because this election has enormous consequences for women.

So we have to show up and help get out the vote for our guy.

The hard work and dedication of volunteers across the country is what will help put President Obama and other Democrats over the top.

Supporters are coming out for shifts morning, noon, and night this Sunday -- to make calls to our neighbors, and to knock on doors to talk with voters.

We need you there, too, for as many shifts as you can take -- because this race is neck and neck, and if we don't step up right now for the final stretch, we could have a lot of regrets on November 7th.

Sign up for at least two shifts in Arlington this weekend.

What: Weekend of action

Meet at: 4401 Wilson Blvd Arlington, VA 22203

When: Sunday, October 21st Starting at 10:00 am

Or check out all the other events near you this weekend.

With less than three weeks until Election Day, there's not much time to get this right and make sure women are doing everything we can to re-elect President Obama and support Democrats up and down the ticket.

We can't afford to stay home -- the stakes are too high for us and our families. Mitt Romney wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade, denying women the right to choose, and defund Planned Parenthood.

He hasn't been willing to stand up for the Paycheck Fairness Act, and his tax cuts on the wealthy would come at the expense of our families' economic security.

President Obama is the only presidential candidate advocating for women's rights.

So we have to get out there and get his back. There will be tons of Obama supporters out in force this Sunday -- brand-new volunteers, and people with years of experience under their belts. It will be fast-paced, and the amount of ground we can cover in a matter of hours will leave you breathless. But if you're anything like me, you'll be ready to do it all over again as soon as your shift is through.

Don't miss a minute.

Sign up for one or more volunteer shifts now -- and let's win this election:

then pass it along to all the women in your life. Remember, it only takes one to make a difference.
