-- January 18, 2013: Organizing for Action officially launches -- and First Lady Michelle Obama sends a personal message of support.

-- February 12, 2013: President Obama delivers the State of the Union -- then jumps on the phone to talk directly with more than 120,000 OFA supporters about the year ahead.

-- February 22, 2013: OFA holds its first national Day of Action, calling for action to prevent gun violence.

-- March 1, 2013: More than half a million people add their names to call for an end to harmful budget cuts.

-- April 1, 2013: Our 20th state coordinator joins the OFA team to grow the organization from the ground up.

-- May 9, 2013: OFA volunteers deliver 1.4 million petition signatures to Capitol Hill, demanding action to prevent gun violence.

-- June 25, 2013: President Obama lays out his ambitious plan to tackle climate change, while Congress fails to act. Meanwhile, OFA drives the campaign to call out climate change deniers in Congress. Tens of thousands of OFA supporters tune in for a livestream of Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis making a stand for women's rights.

-- June 26, 2013: The Supreme Court strikes down DOMA: OFA supporters celebrate that love is love.

-- July 22, 2013: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and President Obama join OFA supporters to kick off a month-long grassroots effort to reach out to members of Congress during the congressional recess.

-- July 25, 2013: After the Senate passed comprehensive immigration reform, OFA supporters call House Speaker John Boehner's office at least once every single minute from 8:09 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.

-- August 13, 2013: Volunteers deliver climate change denier awards to 135 members of Congress.

-- August 19, 2013: The Washington Post declares: "It's not 2009 anymore" -- putting the cap on Action August, which featured more than 2,000 grassroots events.

-- September 1, 2013: 811 summer fellows complete a three-month-long crash course in organizing and head out to support the progressive movement across the country.

-- October 1-17, 2013: An extreme group in the House forces the government to shut down. More than one million Americans joined OFA to call on Speaker John Boehner to stand up to a group of Tea Party Republicans and end the shutdown.

-- November 4, 2013: President Obama joins OFA and partner organizations at the Obamacare Summit to talk about how we're going to make our efforts during the six months of health care enrollment a success.

-- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

-- January 1, 2014: Millions of Americans finally have the security that comes from quality, affordable health coverage.

-- January 11, 2014: OFA holds its 25th Day of Action in its first year to help tell the story of how millions have better, more affordable care thanks to health reform.
