Washington Post: "Republicans have plausible opportunities to win in a huge amount of Senate seats"

After Rove's historically large ad buy, the projection model shows Democratic odds of keeping the Senate have dipped below 50% with only eight days left. And we believe Karl Rove is trying to break the deadlock with $X million in attacks in the next 48 hours.

Republicans only need four seats to take the majority, and new polls show these four races now lean Republican: GOP up two in Massachusetts, Virginia and Wisconsin, and up three in Nevada.

To change these numbers, we must match Rove dollar-for-dollar by urgently putting $X million into the "Stop the Takeover" Fund before Wednesday's final media deadline.

Can you put $X into the "Stop the Takeover" fund immediately? We must raise and immediately wire $X million to tied battlegrounds like Virginia and Wisconsin before the final ad buy deadline on Wednesday.

Just this morning, we sent 14,576 critical contributions to seven tied battlegrounds. And today, that money is on the air fighting Rove. But there are just eight days left, and if we want to stop the Republican from breaking out of the deadlock and winning the Senate, I need your urgent help.

Let's match Rove dollar-for-dollar today. Please give $X immediately [url]

Thanks for your help, Anna Chu Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee

P.S. Remember: The final media deadline of this campaign is Wednesday at midnight. If you're waiting to contribute, please keep that deadline in mind and make your contribution today [url]

Breaking: Democratic odds of keeping the Senate dip below 50% in latest projection F — After Karl Rove's largest Senate ad buy in history, the Washington Post reports a "GOP boost" with just eight days left. And we believe Karl Rove is spending another $X million in the next 48 hours in an attempt to permanently break the Senate deadlock!

Democrats will lose the majority if we lose just four seats, and polls show Democrats trailing in these four races: Behind two in Massachusetts, Virginia, and Wisconsin; and three in Nevada.

But here is our plan to turn these numbers around: We must urgently put $X million in the "Stop the Takeover" Fund by Wednesday's final ad buy deadlineand match every single cent Rove is spending. We will immediately wire funds to battlegrounds like Virginia and Ohio.

Can you urgently contribute $X to the "Stop the Takeover" Fund before the final media deadline on Wednesday? We need 13,144 more donations to match Rove dollar-for-dollar. And we will match every gift 3-to-1 for 48 hours only!

Rove isn't going to like this: We've already had 1,432 contributions since just this morningand we'll urgently send those funds out tonight. But if we fall short by Wednesday at midnight, Rove will overpower us, and he could hand the Senate to the GOP.

Please contribute $X immediatelybefore the ad buy deadline on Wednesday. We will triple match your gift for 48 hours only [url]

Washington Post Senate Report: "Republicans' hopes rising" The Post reports that Karl Rove's largest ad investment has "key Senate races getting tighter," with "eight critical contests dead heats." And with just eight days to go, Democrats' odds of keeping the Senate have now dropped to 50%.

In some key races, Democratic numbers are slipping: Elizabeth Warren is only up two, and Todd "legitimate rape" Akin is in the margin of error.

To stop Republicans from breaking the deadlock for the Senate majority, we must match Rove dollar-for-dollar with an urgent increase in battleground spending. It will take 9,126 emergency contributions by midnight Wednesday. Can you contribute $X immediately? We will rush it to battlegrounds like Virginia and Ohio. -Patty

-----See President Obama's original message below----- I don't need to tell you this race is very close.

But I need to tell you this: The outcome depends on you.

If we win a Democratic Senate in nine days, it will be because you and I refused to give up everything we care about. But if we lose, it will be because we didn't do enough today.

The deadline we face at midnight is the most critical of this campaign. You have just 15 hours to prevent a Republican Senate takeover. Can you give $X to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee immediately?

I'm asking for your help today. I'm fighting for this as hard as I know how, but we've got to fight together to win.

In nine days, we'll know the outcome. But I truly believe it depends on this moment. And I believe in you.

Please contribute $X. Let's put our all into this:

 Thank you,
