As a child, Jose worked side by side with his parents picking crops across the San Joaquin Valley. He grew up to become a world-class engineer that helped develop life-saving mammogram technology. Then, a NASA astronaut who flew a 14-day space mission in 2009. Not bad, right?

Jose's Tea Party Republican opponent, Jeff Denham, voted to end Medicare, defund Planned Parenthood, and give more tax breaks to millionaires.
