But the only contest I'm worried about is that big one, coming up on November 6th, just over 19 weeks from today.
We have an important FEC fundraising deadline coming up this Saturday, and we have to blow it out of the water to be able to do what we need to do out there in the states.

So the President and the First Lady are going to be sitting down with a
couple supporters for dinner soon. Right off the bat, I know what you might
be thinking:
All these dinners, all these contests. Barack, Michelle, George Clooney,
President Clinton. What's the deal?
Glad you asked. This campaign holds these drawings and events for a
very good reason, and it's not because we want to show off how cool
the President and First Lady are.

One of my responsibilities as chief operating officer of this
campaign is to sign off on travel costs -- so I see every
expense for a hotel room or plane ticket.

One of my responsibilities as chief operating officer of this
campaign is to sign off on travel costs -- so I see every
expense for a hotel room or plane ticket.
If you win Dinner with Barack, I'll be the one approving
your flight arrangements from your town to your dinner with
the President and First Lady.
Managing the logistics of these dinners is tough, but we do
