We're about to get hit with an avalanche of negative ads.

Romney-allied outside groups have already lined up more than $X million in television spending for this week alone.

That's been the other side's strategy from the beginning: slamming the airwaves with ads trashing the President and his record. I'll be blunt: They are trying to buy this election, and we're the only ones who are standing in their way.

Can you chip in $X or more right now to help?

We've worked too hard to slow down now. We need to bear down these last 29 days, because Governor Romney and his allies aren't going to play fair or take it easy on us. Take it from their own adviser: "We're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers."

We need to keep fighting and get the back of the guy who's got ours -- will you chip in today?

Thanks. Let's keep this up.

I didn't get into politics for the fun of it. Every election, and this one more than any in my lifetime, is about creating a better country for my family, for yours, and for millions more.

So when Mitt Romney looks America in the eye and refuses to be honest about what he would do as president, I take it personally.

You get to make sure he doesn't get away with it. We're building the largest grassroots organization in politics, and we've got four more weeks to tell every single voter the truth about Mitt Romney's plan.

Please donate $X or more now, and let Mitt Romney know we're going to hold him accountable.

Ever since the debate, Mitt Romney has been completely untethered to the truth. He said he's not planning a $X trillion tax cut skewed toward the wealthiest Americans false , that his health care plan would protect Americans with pre-existing conditions false , and that he wouldn't actually cut teachers' jobs again, false .

Unfortunately for him, his true positions are all on tape. And this time, I don't mean only on a leaked tape that you weren't supposed to see -- he's been advocating for these backward policies in public since he started running for president.

The truth of those policies matters for the families who want to send their kids to excellent public schools with enough teachers in the classroom, and for the middle-class folks whose taxes would go up under Romney's plan. It matters to people with pre-existing conditions, like my daughter, Lauren.

If we can't trust him to come clean now, how can we trust him in the Oval Office?

Support the leader who doesn't back down -- who levels with the American people, and isn't afraid to stand up for what we believe in. Donate $X or more now:
