As we know, the Republican money-raising machine has been turned on full

to push America far to the right. image: Democratic Senatorial Campaign

As
we know, the Republican money-raising machine has been turned on full
throttle, raking in millions from a small group of the super-rich who want
to push America far to the right.
I invite you to join with me in stopping them, $X at a time.
The DSCC needs to raise $X.4 million by June 30 to send a message that will
be heard throughout our land: the Democratic Party will fight back to
re-elect President Obama and to keep the Senate in Democratic hands. We
will not be intimidated, nor are we afraid of a tough fight this fallbut
on November 6, we intend to prevail.
To do that, we need your help - now. Please take a minute to donate $X
or more to re-elect President Obama and protect our Senate majority. Don’t
delay; the stakes are too
high.
Our nation cannot afford a return to the heavy-handed unilateralism of the
George W. Bush years. President Obama owns no magic wand, but he has shown
the ability to work with others and the courage to make tough decisions.
He has kept his promise to extricate our troops from Iraq, fought terrorism
without alienating our allies, begun a transition to local control in
Afghanistan, moved to reduce the danger posed by nuclear weapons, and
reduced our dependence on foreign oil.
Please join with me. Stand up for responsible leadership and a peaceful
future. Act now, before the June 30 deadline. Give $X or more to help
the DSCC ensure victory in
November.
Sincerely,
Madeleine Albright
