During our debate on Wednesday, in front of 70 million Americans, my opponent said he thinks we've been too tough on Wall Street, but that he wants to crack down on Sesame Street.

I'm not kidding. Now, I guess it's possible Americans are looking for a president who will finally get tough on Big Bird.

But the math just doesn't add up. You'd have to de-fund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting every year more than 1,000 times to pay for the $X trillion in additional spending cuts Romney needs to meet his promises.

And since there's only one Big Bird that Mitt Romney can fire, that means middle-class families will have to pay for the rest of his plan -- including his tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires. That's the arithmetic.

If you want to be president, you have to level with the American people -- and Mitt Romney is trying to sneak one past everybody. The reality is that this election is a choice between two fundamentally different sets of values. We need to make sure that everyone knows that, and no one can obscure it.
