now that the Supreme Court has upheld health reform, we can all move forward, right?

I wish. Unfortunately, the same folks who have been attacking reform from the beginning aren’t about to stop now. In fact, if they win the White House and the Senate this November, they’ll start with destroying reform – and then proceed to roll back all the progress we’ve made under President Obama.

The race for the White House and Senate – in other words, the race to decide every important issue we face – is a dead heat. So you need to act now.

By “act,” I mean give money. And by “now,” I mean RIGHT now – because the DSCC has to raise another $X to hit their goal by midnight tonight. Click here to stand with President Obama and the Democrats by contributing $X or more right now.

The truth is, no matter how hard we work to make progress – or how many times we successfully defend that progress – the far right will always be ready to roll it all back if we give them a chance.

And they’ll get that chance if we let right-wing attack ads break the tie and hand this election to the GOP.

I know it’s not fair. And I know you’re sick of getting fundraising emails this month. Sorry. But, frankly, I’d rather annoy you than watch the far right unleash their Wayback Machine and erase health care reform and everything else we’ve fought to do.

And when it comes to fighting back against Karl Rove and his money machine, you’re all we have. 99 percent of the DSCC’s contributions come from people like you – and I bet a bunch of them come from people who get just as annoyed about fundraising emails as you do.

So click here, would you? The DSCC is $X away from their fundraising goal with 15 hours to go, and your $X could make a huge difference.

The Supreme Court’s ruling made Thursday a good day for the good guys. Hitting our fundraising goal will make today another one. And with the race for the White House and the Senate tied, that’s worth reading one more email and clicking on one more contribution link , right?

Thanks,

Al
