Founded by businessman Fred Malek, the fund is run by President Brian Walsh, a former
political director of the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Chairman
Norm Coleman, the former GOP senator from Minnesota. The men formed this group
in October 2011 to defend the Republican House majority. The fund is loosely
