Issue:
A Veteran receiving services at the Business Office removed copies of other Veterans' Beneficiary Travel Reimbursement Vouchers from the Business Office while the employee who was assisting him was in the restroom. The Vouchers were recovered an hour after they were taken. The Vouchers contained Veterans' name, address, and full SSN.
Outcome:
10/23/13: The Vouchers were picked up by accident according to the VA Police who have retrieved the information from the Veteran. 10/24/13: This incident involved 12 Veterans. The 12 Veterans will receive a letter offering credit protection services.
