VA employee requested and received a sensitive patient access report. VA employee believes inappropriate access has occurred with nine employees and is requesting an investigation to be conducted.
Outcome:
11/07/13: Questionable access memos have been sent to service management to determine if accesses were in the fuction of assigned job duties. 11/08/13: Management is in the process of making a determination. Responses are due by COB on the 12th. 11/18/13: It has been determined that the access of one employee was not warranted, even though the employee stated it was an error. Therefore Employee A will receive a notification letter.
