Issue:

Employee A a requested Sensitive Patient Access Report after she was told by a VISN employee, Employee B that Employee As medical conditions were the subject of a lunch conversation. Employee A was not present at the lunch attended by Employee B and Employee C (both VISN employees). Employee C said that she was provided with Employee As medical information by Employee D, who was not present at the lunch. Employee A believes that Employee D inappropriately accessed her medical information. Employee A also complains that five facility staff, listed as accessing her CPRS chart in the Sensitive Patient Access Report, be investigated as part of her Privacy complaint.Both complaints to be investigated further after appropriate notification. Update: 04/11/11:Employee A will be offered credit protection services.
