The Patient Advocate received a complaint from a Veteran alleging that on 03/03/15, an ED Tech compromised his Patient Privacy information by asking him his personal identifiers and medical questions at the ED Check-In Window while another patient was in the Check-In Window office having vital signs taken. The Veteran claims that this other patient witnessed the exchange between him and the ER Tech.

Outcome:

03/09/15: The Incident Resolution Service Team has determined that Veteran A will be sent a notification letter.
