Issue:
This is an earlier investigation - The Virginia Department of Health Professions contacted one of our nurse managers regarding an employee that had been removed. The former employee copied patient records to use in a report against another nurse to the Professions board. At this time a call has been placed to the Senior Investigator handling the case. There will more information to come as soon as it is received. The names of the Veterans will be collected from the Health Professions group. Update: 05/16/13:This was determined to be non-HITECH reportable by VHA Privacy Office.
