Issue:
US Postal Service delivered a prescription refill to the wrong address. The individual who received the package opened it and discovered it wasn't addressed to him. He in turn hand-delivered it our Pharmacy for safekeeping. The package was correctly addressed. Subsequent examination of the open package revealed that no SSN or DOB data had been compromised. The intended recipient has been notified to collect his medication from our Pharmacy and come in tomorrow, 4 Feb. The package was mailed from CMOP. Update: 02/03/11:Veteran will receive a letter of notification.
