Issue:
An individual who was applying to volunteer was taken to Human Resources (HR) for fingerprinting. He was escorted by a volunteer. When he reached HR, it was discovered that he was not only carrying his paperwork but also had the paperwork for another individual who was applying to volunteer. Of special note, he has not taken any privacy/information security training as of yet. Update: 11/30/11:Volunteer Applicant B will be sent a letter offering credit protection services.
Outcome:
Employees in area responsible reminded that documents must be protected.
