OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Demos Fellows Program supports scholars and writers whose innovative work influences the public debate about crucial national and global issues. The program offers an intellectual home and communications platform for more than 20 fellows from diverse backgrounds: emerging public intellectuals, journalists, distinguished public figures, and academics whose research can be used to inform the policy world. The Emerging Voices Initiative, a platform within the Fellows Program, is dedicated to developing early-career writers and thinkers who will contribute to important public debates as rising thought leaders. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Demos Business & Society team works to develop a world in which democracy writes the rules for capitalism, not the other way aroundwhere people have the power to set expectations for the way business operates in an interdependent society. Our work focuses on designing a financial sector that supports the real economy and establishing a system of measurements that will improve public decision-making for working families, strong communities, and sustainable economic growth. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Affiliated programs and projects that share the organization's mission and values and hold events throughout the year that focus on the mission. |

Demos Money in Politics team works to advance equality in our politics and policymaking. We believe that the outsized influence of money in our political system is undermining our democracy, which perpetuates a dangerous interplay between political and economic inequality. Demos integrated strategies to shift the landscape of money in politics include communicating how the improper influence of money on government impacts policy choices and Americans lives; building support for clear, achievable policy solutions; and working to change the constitutional constraints in campaign finance jurisprudence on money in politics laws. |
