Pt III, Line 31 | Our two history-related projects, the Archive Preservation Initiative & Moogseum were very active in 2014. Over 1,800 vintage schematics were cleaned and digitally cataloged by two staff members and three volunteers; they are now documented and searchable for research purposes. Three vintage synthesizers were fully restored and are in working order. Two demonstration videos were created from those restored synthesizers. We partnered with The History Center of Tompkins County in Ithaca, NY, to create the Switched-On: Birth of the Moog Synthesizer exhibit, which ran continuously for a year, as well as its associated programs. The Foundation also lent artifacts to other museum exhibits. |
