Cantare's choirs are made up entirely of volunteers, these singers commit to rehearsals, performances and the various expenses for participating all for the loving of singing and sharing music with our audiences. We use volunteers in other capacities as well from our webmaster to our concert stage managers and ushers. These volunteers are members of the Cantare community as friends or relatives of our singers or board members as well as people involved in our children's program. Our Cantare Children's Choirs of Oakland program also relies on volunteers. These volunteers work both behind the scenes and are also directly involved with our students and at their performances. Many of our adult singers and Cantare board members also volunteer their time serving on the Education and Outreach committee, volunteering at after school choirs, rehearsals, concerts, or volunteering their time to handle administrative projects associated with our school sites. These volunteers involved in all of our programs make an immeasurable contribution to Cantare Con Vivo. |
