The Compensation and Leadership Development Committee of the Board has authority to approve all executive compensation; an independent consultant specializing in the field of executive compensation and benefits is hired by the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee of the Board to review and provide an opinion about the executive compensation that it is fair, reasonable and market appropriate. During the review and approval of the compensation, documentation of the decision was recorded in the minutes. The individual was not present when her compensation was decided. RIC performed all of the above procedures to obtain the rebuttable presumption respecting compensation arrangements (per IRC Section 4958). |

On February 5, 2013, the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board granted RIC a licensure for 242 beds for its new research hospital and outpatient facility currently under construction at 355 East Erie, Chicago, IL. Contribution revenue includes $17,815,038 from RIC's fundraising campaign for this new facility. Of this amount $15,037,579 was pledges. The new facility is expected to open in early 2017. |
