Significant changes to the organizational documents for 2015 include amendment of: the purpose of the organization to include providing affordable housing, undefined terms, ratification, and governing law. The amended purpose in its entirety is a follow: The purpose of this Association shall be to develop and improve the spiritual, social, mental, and physical life of the youth and adults in accordance with the spirit and teachings of Jesus; to provide programs of education, counseling, and personal growth in fitness, illness prevention, and good health maintenance, and in cooperation with other organizations and with individuals, to render such service in the community as will secure better economic, social, and moral conditions for youth and adults, utilizing facilities, equipment, and buildings of the association and the community as appropriate to the achievement of these purposes, and provide affordable housing, all of which are directed towards improving the quality of life. |
