Form 990, Part VI, Line 1a: Explanation of Delegated Broad Authority to Committee | The Executive Committee consists of the following persons: (a) The President; (b) The last person to serve as President prior to the current President; (c) The Vice Presidents; (d) The Secretary/Parliamentarian; (e) Treasurer; (f) One (1) member of the Board of Directors, who is not also an officer (such member being appointed by the Committee on Trustees); and (g) One (1) member of the Board of Directors, who is not also an officer (such member being appointed by the President).The President is the Chair of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall be vested with the full day-to-day management authority of the Corporation, including, without limitation, the power and authority to communicate with and direct the Head of School, suspend or otherwise discipline the Head of School (subject to the approval of the Board), negotiate contracts (save and except teachers contracts), expend monies, borrow monies, invest funds, and provide other administrative oversight and direction as needed, and to carry out such other duties as may be delegated to it by the Board of Directors from time to time. In addition, the Executive Committee shall act on emergency matters that may arise between meetings of the Board (but under no circumstance shall hiring of a principal or Head of School be within the authority of the Executive Committee unless such authority is expressly delegated to the Executive Committee on and for a particular occasion by the Board) |

Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees | The School's administration uses a salary scale and pulls data from our accreditation body to determine the salaries of teachers and other staff. Raises are merit based. |
