PART I, LINE 1A A HOUSING ALLOWANCE WAS PAID TO AN EMPLOYEE REPORTED ON THE FORM 990 DURING 2015. THE EMPLOYEE IS A DIRECTOR OF A FOREIGN OFFICE; THE HOUSING ALLOWANCES ARE TAXABLE BENEFITS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED TAX GROSS-UP PAYMENTS TO A DIRECTOR OF A FOREIGN OFFICE DURING TAX YEAR 2015, WHICH IS ALSO A TAXABLE BENEFIT. THE ORGANIZATION REIMBURSED ONE TRUSTEE FOR CHARTER TRAVEL AND SEVERAL TRUSTEES FOR 1ST CLASS TICKETS TO BOARD MEETINGS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2015. THESE ARE NONTAXABLE BENEFITS FOR THE TRUSTEES. THE ORGANIZATION REIMBURSED A TRUSTEE'S SPOUSE FOR TRAVEL TO A FEBRUARY 2015 BOARD MEETING, WHICH IS A TAXABLE BENEFIT.
PART I, LINE 7 DISCRETIONARY BONUSES ARE AWARDED TO EMPLOYEES FOR SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE. ANY BONUS AMOUNT FOR THE PRESIDENT IS RECOMMENDED BY THE GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. ANY OTHER BONUS AMOUNTS ARE RECOMMENDED BY THE PRESIDENT AND APPROVED BY THE GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
