Both the library director and fiscal officer were hired by the Board of Trustees following recruitment, interview, evaluation and recommendation of the Personnel Committee. The committee researched pay scales and job duties for comparable positions in the field, reviewed and updated the job description, obtained references and, in the case of the fiscal officer, required bonding. This process was last undertaken in 2014 for the fiscal officer. This process was last undertaken in 2015 for the director with annual evaluations since. |
