OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: High School High Tech - Presents high school students with disabilities a mix of learning experiences that promote career exploration in the fields of science, engineering and technology. Provides mentoring program for at-risk students. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Housing Initiative - Home of Your Own (HOYO) - Works one-on-one with people with disabilities to help break through numerous financial, attitudinal and physical barriers to home ownership and financial literacy. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Adult Program provides recreational events for adults with disabilities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Therapy Program provides physical, occupational and speech therapy for children with disabilties - ages 3+. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Toy Tech Program - Provides a special adapted toy and equipment lending library, yoga, pet therapy, dance and gymboree for children with disabilities ages birth to thirteen. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Caroline School - Day program for children with severe disabilities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: Social Motion Skills - provides social and behavioral curriculum for school age children with autism. Final year of prgram with Easter Seals Greater Houston (expenses reflect net loss). OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: Transition - Services and support for persons 16-27 who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Illness - designed to help youth become more independent and successful in their communities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 12: Veterans - Assist veterans and their families build the lives they want after they finish their military service. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 13: Bridging APPS - Provides assistive technology lab available for all family members to explore current technologies. BridgingApps bridges the gap between technology and people with disabilities. Became separate program in 2015,previously combined with Toy Tech Program. |
