Pt VI, Line 19 1. The organization will make its governing documents (Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws), Conflict of Interest Policy, and Financial Statements available to the public upon a written request. 2. The aforementioned documents are kept in the Executive Director's office and copies are stored in the financial/bookkeeping office. 3. A written request from the public to view these documents should be directed to the Executive Director. 4. Upon receipt of a written request, the Executive Director will notify the requestor of the date and time that the document(s) can be viewed. 5. At all times, the Executive Director or a designated staff will be present during the public viewing of the document(s). The public shall not otain possession of the the viewed documents without the permission of the Executive Director
Pt VI, Line 6 Per the Organization's bylaws, individuals may be admitted as members whom share and value common interests in supporting and promoting the purposes, goals, programs and undertakings of the Corporation. The members do not elect the Board of Directors, and two directors shall be elder members of the Corporation.
Pt VI, Line 11b 1. Involvement of a Designated Board Member Staff who will Oversee the Tax Preparation Services with suitable tax background in Form 990 review process. 2. Sending of a copy of the final Form 990 (after internal review and finalization by the Independent Accountant) to each Member of the IDIC Board of Directors for acceptance and and before filing (a Form 990 requirement). 3. Upon acceptance by the Board of Directors, the Executive Director sends a signed Form 8879-EO to the Independent Accountant authorizing him/her to electronically file Form 990 on behalf of IDIC. 4. The Independent Accountant notifies the Executive Director that Form 990 is accepted or rejected by the IRS.
