THE INSTITUTE'S COLLECTIONS CONSIST OF RARE WORKS OF ART AND OUT OF PRINT BOOKS, REFERENCE MATERIALS, AND PHOTOGRAPHS; THUS, NO PROVISION FOR DEPRECIATION IS MADE THEREON. THE COLLECTIONS ARE MAINTAINED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND ARE TO BE MAINTAINED IN PERPETUITY. AS SUCH, THEY ARE RECORDED IN PERMANENTLY RESTRICTED NET ASSETS.
