Explanation
Schedule K, Part I-11/08/2012 10,315,000 MDFA Revenue Bonds 2012
The Mass Development Finance Agency Revenue Bonds 2012 consist of tax-exempt bonds of $10,315,000 and taxable bonds of $3,505,000. The information provided in Part I through Part V, column A is based on the tax-exempt portion of the bond issue.
Schedule K, Part I-06/23/2016 63,125,000 MDFA Revenue Bonds 2016
In 2016, the College issued $63,125,000 of Revenue Bonds with the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency, which included Series A and Series B Bonds of $48,125,000 and $15,000,000, respectively. The proceeds from the Series A issuance were used to advance refund the existing MDFA 2010 Bond issue, with a 15-year fixed interest rate. The proceeds from the Series B issuance will be used to finance the Babson Learning Commons project, with a 15-year variable rate, fixed through a swap.
